I’m moving away from a specific narrative. I now simply embrace my process of making and don’t over think the risk-taking – I just go hard. The brain can stay away as I trust the intelligence in my fingers. I trust the flow of making – this is where the good work happens.
My pieces are placed in the general tradition of ceramic’s, they always have an opening at the top. I think I am more linked to the tradition of painters rather than makers. At the moment Gerhard Richter is my big turn on, but this will change at some stage to some new obsession.
