Within his work, Manuel Canu questions the relationship between people and architecture and the psychological and emotional influence it has on us. The Bruckner Foundation has given him carte blanche, to make in situ pieces made with raw clay. They dialogue with the space and a series of his own ornamental wall pieces. By ascribing to historic decorative craftsmanship, he creates installations to discuss the reinterpretation of the use of clay, as a decorative and architectural media in a contemporary context.
